Alex Menzies was the Music Fellow and is a composer, producer and artist. His approach to the Fellowship saw him consider the therapeutic effects of music and music therapy in a wider context.

“I was really interested in discovering about the therapeutic use of sound in medicine, seeing it in real-life examples because that seemed to be the most useful thing I could do with the Fellowship. Neurological Music Therapy covers things like stroke rehabilitation using the pace of a sound.” – Alex Menzies
Alex also created an album during his Fellowship: Eirini Pt1, which can be found on Bandcamp: https://alexmenzies.bandcamp.com/ album/eirini-pt-i
