Cycle Fair: All things bike and print, Portwall Square, Bristol

Artist Nick Hand has been commissioned to develop designs for permanent features within the building at One Portwall Square and has also developed an accompanying community event that will draw upon the themes explored in his permanent work.   

The event, 2-5pm Sunday 2nd October will focus on print, the act of printing and its heritage on the site. It will also involve a celebration of the humble bicycle which links to Nick’s research and designs for the permanent artwork.  Nick has his own “printing bike” which combines the two and he proposes an event where he can talk about the project, get people involved in printing and celebrate at once: the heritage of the area, letterpress print and bicycles!
